Giants Community Fund and Raymond Vineyard Hosts Benefit in St. Helena
What: "A Giant Day at Raymond Vineyards"

Pairing a grand cru audience of Giants Community Fund supporters and lovers of
fabulous food and wine, the Giants Community Fund and Raymond Vineyard & Cellar
will team up on July 30 to host "A Giant Day at Raymond Vineyards". Taking place
poolside at the winery, nestled in the vineyards of St. Helena, guests will
swirl and sip sample varietals from Raymond's renowned selection, while putting
their taste buds to the test with a "Giant Sub-Sandwich" contest, enjoying live
music, a silent auction and more.
Past and present Giants legends, and along with other sports celebrities will be
in attendance, including Tito Fuentes, Bill Laskey, Rich Murray (SF Giants),
Eric Wright (SF 49ers), Jacob Green (Seattle Seahawks), Maurice Lucas (Portland
Trailblazers), Reggie McKenzie (Buffalo Bills) and more. Guests will meet and
mingle with the greats, who will be available for autographs and photo
opportunities.
Napa Valley restaurateurs, including Brix Restaurant, Compadres Bar & Grill,
Fume Bistro, Hurley's Restaurant & Bar, Julia's Kitchen at Copia, Silverado
Brewing Company and Silverado Resort are on deck to bring their delectable
talents to the picnic level, by competing in the first "Giant Sub-Sandwich"
contest. Taking a break from the sipping and nibbling, guests will have the
opportunity to bid on fabulous silent auction items, such as an Honorary Field
Visit for four at SBC Park, autographed sports memorabilia, wine and more.
"A Giant Day at Raymond Vineyards" marks the second partnership between the
Giants Community Fund, an award-winning nonprofit organization, and the winery.
Funds raised at the event will support the Giants Community Fund, a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization. Junior Giants presented by Bank of America, the flagship
program of the Giants Community Fund, provides more than 13,000 youth, ages 5 to
18 with a free, non-competitive summer baseball
program. Along with teaching baseball fundamentals, the leagues emphasize
building the four bases of character development: confidence, integrity,
