Beaujolais
Nouveau:
Released on the third
Thursday in November.
Two thirds of Nouveau come from the Beaujolais appellation,
the rest from Beaujolais Villages.
Bright cherry red in color with a characteristic floral bouquet &
fruity flavors. |

Brouilly:
Deep ruby in color & the
bouquet reveals soft fruits, plum & peach. |

Chnas:
Rarest of the Beaujolais Crus
Ruby colored with hints of garnet, well structured with a floral, woody
bouquet. |

Chiroubles:
Highest in altitude of the
Beaujolais Crus.
Striking red color, delicious, supple & elegant. Scents of peonies,
lily of the valley and violets. It is one of the most individual wines
of Beaujolais. |

Cote-de-Brouilly:
Violet in color with a bouquet of
irises & fresh grapes.
Cte de Brouilly needs some time to develop its distinctive style. |

Fleurie:
Velvety & elegant with aromas
of iris, violet, rose petal, peach, blackcurrant & red berry.
Said to be the most feminine of the Beaujolais Crus. |

Julinas:
May be enjoyed young after
a few years in the bottle, it has a consistent ruby color
with a bouquet of peach, cherry & strawberry. |

Morgon:
Fleshy & appealing with
fullness. Deep garnet & a bouquet of ripe cherry,
peach, apricot & plum. Should be aged for a few years to reach its
maturity. |

Moulin
Vent:
Deep ruby color with
a bouquet of iris, rose petal, spice & ripe fruit, excellent aging
potential has give it a reputation as one of the best red wines of
France. |
Rgni:
Rgni, the most recent of the
Beaujolais wines to be assigned cru status in 1988.
This village makes a supple well-constructed wine, cherry-colored with
aromas
suggesting red currants, blackberries & raspberries. |
Saint
Amour:
Northernmost area of Beaujolais.
Lively, refined & well-balanced, a ruby color with a bouquet of
cherry & spice. |
