Capel Vale

1995 SHELDRAKE Shiraz Western Australia Big and brash, this Aussie red has many complex aromas and flavors. Leather, dark fruit, raisins and mint along with cherries, spices and toasted oak are some of the many facets of this fun, rambunctious wine.  They come together to suggest mint chocolate covered strawberries!  Then, a huge smoky finish. (Note: it was aerated a few hours to soften its tannins.  It worked!) Price N/A.         07/22/98      Tom
