Reininger Winery has rapidly gained recognition for producing premium award-winning red wines from the Walla Walla Valley. Winemaker Chuck Reininger crafts elegant and finely structured wines by using the finest fruit from renowned local vineyards. Chuck’s winemaking style has been driven by his reverence for the land. His background as a mountain climbing guide and outdoor adventurer has shaped his philosophy about winemaking: “I enjoy the simple pleasures of savoring the complexities. Wine and the land are spiritual. They are an adventure of the soul.”
In December 2004, REININGER Winery announced the debut of a new label - Helix. Helix sources fruit from the larger Columbia Valley, allowing for increased production and expanded distribution, while REININGER wines maintain limited production, focusing on fruit from the Walla Walla Valley
