Here's
a collaborative effort of a Washington state winery and a Mosel based
German wine maker. It starts by revealing a modest bouquet of citrus
fruit and gardenias. Fruit cocktail flavors hit the palate in a soft,
round body, with a tease of citrus zing. Slightly off dry and not
particularly long, it could work well as an aperitif or as a match with
spicy Asian cuisine. And, even at $20, there is something mysteriously
attractive about this wine.
