1997 YARRA RIDGE Pinot Noir,
Yarra Valley
Spicy berry fruit with some funky earthiness in the nose. In the mouth it is
light bodied and somewhat acidic with tart berry and cherry flavors. While
Wine Spectator Magazine gives it an 85 and tells us only 200 hundred cases
were made, with its chewy tannic finish we say, "just as well."
