Stuart Cellars

1996 STUART CELLARS  "Tatria"  South Coast Special Select Reserve Red Table Wine Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Earthy, meaty aromas overlay dark, ripe fruit, slightly buttery. The palate is treated to loads of fruit and tannin, revealing lead pencil and cedar, which dissolve to suggestions of chocolate on the lasting finish. Definitely a red meat wine, and with this much fruit and tannin, it has to be a keeper. A surprisingly impressive red from the South Coast appellation.      Around $28.          05/10/00
