1997 Neil Ellis Sauvignon Blanc, Groenkloof South African white in the classic style of a Sancerre from France's Loire Valley. Pale, golden color, crisp, high acidity with a huge herbal, vegetal nose, along with pronounced flavors of asparagus. Nice, lingering finish tells you this is a Sauvignon Blanc lover's dream!
