Burly,
rustic red with a long pedigree offers up ripe cherry and plum flavors
that yield to spearmint on the ample finish. Surprisingly, this monster
lacks much of a bouquet although it is full bodied and tannic. And, with
little elegance and not enough fruit to stand up to the chewy tannins,
it just doesnt work.
