2000 VALLEY OF THE MOON

Sonoma
 
The
Pinot Blanc under review is an OK dry white wine; The color is straw
yellow with green reflections. The scent is not too intense nor too
persistent, but it is quite delicate and is an harmonic mixture of ripe
yellow apple, white rose and acacia. In the mouth it is not very intense
and lacks personality. However, it is quite fresh and has still a little
bit of effervescence which is pleasant on the tongue, and the
aftertaste is quite delicate. Slightly overpriced. About $17.
