2000 VALLEY OF THE MOON
Chardonnay,
Sonoma County
Pear
and apple, with spicy honey notes, make for a nice nose. Its light
bodied but shows well behaved oak and the fruit rolls onto a nice finish.
Citrus and spice seem to be the main players on the palate and, unlike a
lot of California Chards at this price, it comes off as a crisp and
refreshing warm weather white.
