Toad Hollow Vineyards
1997 TOAD HOLLOW Merlot Reserve, Russian River
Plums
and cherries with notes of chocolate and earth, along with meaty/beefy
overtones are carried in this full bodied, soft and silky red. With such
complexity it is hard to characterize and impresses as very mysterious.
But whatever the flavors, they linger on and on beautifully. Not an
everyday quaff because of its $20 price, but worth trying.
