Aromas
of oaky vanilla and honey are wrapped around very harmonious flavors of
fig, ripe apple and melon, all held together by a thread of cleansing
citrus acidity. While a tad light in richness and body, everything
is there to like in this well crafted Chard. And there's no oak
for oak's sake. Rather, it is expressed as creamy vanilla, elegant
but understated. About $22. 10/28/00
