1997 STONESTREET Chardonnay, Sonoma County
Monster
oaky bouquet, crowding out rumors of ripe melon and apple. On the
palate, the fruit moves forward, yielding to honey vanilla on the
lasting finish. Rich and soft in the mouth, it literally cries out for
more mid palate acidity to offset some of the butter. But, hey, the
Spectator gave it a big review.
