St. Francis Winery
ST. FRANCIS 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County
This medium bodied red delivers dark berry fruit flavors, with plenty of mint and herbs so typical of Cabernet. Its quite closed on the nose, with no discernable aromas, and the tannins get firm and take over on the finish. But its young and shows enough structure to be optimistic about its future. Give it a couple of years.
