Sausal Winery
1996 SAUSAL Zinfandel, Alexander Valley
Dark
berry aromas with notes of earth, leather and anise, with a nuance of
vanilla. Moderate, but nice. Plum and cherry flavors are very
apparent in this fruity California red, with some flashes of chocolate.
It is medium bodied with slightly bitter tannins on the finish.
Nonetheless, a nice little wine.
