1997 MURPHY-GOODE Reserve Fum Blanc, Alexander Valley
Grapefruit citrus, with
creamy vanilla notes, make up a restrained bouquet. They reveal
themselves more fully on the attack, with smooth, oaky vanilla leading
the way. Ripe melon and apple come forth at mid palate, yielding to
the crisp grapefruit citrus on the finish, cleaning things up
nicely. Around $14.
