1998 IRON HORSE Fume Blanc,
T-T Vineyards
83% Sauvignon Blanc and
17% Viognier. Understated aromas and flavors of herbs,
of herbal grassiness and stone fruit. Starts out citrus crisp, but
turns soft on the finish, like a low acid lemon. This promising
combination of grapes somehow lacks complexity and intensity of flavor
and just doesn't work. About $17.
