"Baker" Syrah, California
Mineral
and tar aromas ride atop faint fruit fragrances. Things improve on the
palate where ripe cherry and strawberry flavors are carried in a light
body. The tannins are light too and the finish is a little short.
Unfortunately, the slightly unpleasant aromatics detract from the decent
fruit flavors. So, hold your nose when you drink this one.
