1999 FREI BROTHERS Pinot Noir,
Russian River
The
bouquet is comprised of very faint light fruit aromas with a whisper of
candle wax. Light strawberry flavors give off a bit of vanilla on the
modest finish. An underlying layer of spiciness adds another dimension,
with the fruit beginning, and remaining reasonably ripe. The vanilla
accents add some interest to an otherwise ordinary Pinot.
