1998 FIELD STONE Chardonnay,
Sonoma County
Vibrant
flavors of burnt butter and fermented tropical fruit set this Chard
apart from the mainstream California genre. It's soft and spicy with
only a trace of acidity which emanates from a suggestion of orange
citrus. The bouquet is modest but the flavors are interesting, making
this an unusual take on a Chardonnay.
