1997 FIELD STONE Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley
This Cab reveals a modest, but fetching, bouquet. It has numerous elements to get your interest, including ripe black cherries, with notes of smoke, cedar and nuances of chocolate and vanilla. On the palate it has medium weight with tannins that are very well behaved. Much of the complexity of its perfume carries over onto an ample finish.
