1998 DRY CREEK VINEYARD
Zinfandel, Sonoma County Heritage Clone
This
quality Sonoma producer presents a Zin that offers up a moderate bouquet
of jammy raspberries and black cherries, with a slight nuance of
chocolate and spice. Ripe fruit flavors reveal herbal components at mid
palate. Then the fruit turns just a tad tart on the nice, complex
finish, picking up traces of smoky oak and chocolate. Nice wine.
