1999 DE LOACH
Chardonnay,
Russian River
The
bouquet is pronounced, offering up aromas of honeyed tropical fruit and
smoky oak. On the palate, flavors of ripe apple and pear blend with spice
and
citrus notes. Yes, theres oak there, but it is integrated properly and
plays a
supportive role. The overall impression is richness, with good balance and
moderate weight on the palate. Its a well made rendition of classic
California
Chardonnay.
