1999 CHATEAU ST. JEAN Fum
Blanc, Sonoma County
With faint aromas of
citrus and minerals, it delivers lots of citrus punch on the palate
and not much else. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon that has
been exposed to a little wood aging, it's soft on the attack but
citrus acidity prevails on the finish, along with a hint of almond
blossom. A rather simple offering. About $8.
