Zaca Mesa Winery

2000 ZACA MESA Chardonnay, Santa Barbara  Unusual copper and salmon colors lead to a nose of slightly smoky and spicy tropical fruit loaded with oak. On the palate it shows a medium body, with moderate richness. While most of the nose repeats in the flavors, so does the oak, which dominates on the finish. Okay but oaky.  About $13.               11/02//02                Tom
