2000 LINCOURT Pinot Noir,
Santa Barbara
The
aromatics are disappointingly weak. Things perk up a bit on the palate,
where the light body carries moderately ripe flavors of cherries and
strawberries. A nice little finish, showing a touch of caramel, brings an
added fillip to the whole story. This wine is young and, hopefully, will
develop with more time in the bottle.
