1996 CAMBRIA Syrah, Santa Maria Valley, Tepusquet Vineyard

Despite an unrevealing, rather funky, bouquet, the palate is treated to delicious ripe cherry and berry flavors, almost candied. Medium bodied and soft, with a sense of richness, it progresses to an herbal lanolin finish.    About $18   09/15/99
