2000 BECKMEN Syrah,
Santa Ynez Valley
Modest
aromatics offer up scents of dark berry fruit with nuances of brown sugar
and fresh tobacco. Its medium body carries ripe fruit flavors while a
major component of cedar and sandalwood emerge on an ample finish, along
with a dollop of oaky vanilla. Nice effort from this Santa Ynez Valley
producer.
