1997 PONZI Pinot Noir Reserve, Willamette Valley
Light
bodied in a typical Oregon Pinot Noir style, it displays modest smoky
fruit aromas with notes of earth and leather.
Ripe strawberry and cherry
flavors are built around a core of balancing acidity, with the fruit
turning a bit herbal, tart and
tannic on the finish. It shows beautiful
dark rose colors, slightly brown at the edges.
