Brooding,
rich and exotic, with massive tannins, it delivers delicious ripe fruit
flavors in a syrupy full blown body. The aromatics are vegetal and a
little foreign, not necessarily the strength of this monster. As it
breathes, it begins to reveal more of its Syrah character, with notes of
black coffee coming forth, while the nose turns rustic and earthy. God
only knows what this might become in five years! About $30. 09/05/01
