Turnbull Wine Cellars

1997 TURNBULL Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, Oakville This wine is brimming with baker's unsweetened chocolate at every turn. While the bouquet offers up modest aromas of ripe black cherries and raspberries, the fruit and chocolate kick in late mid palate, and carry onto a delicious lengthy finish. The tannins are soft enough for a young Cab and the body conveys a richness of texture. It's a delicious now, but if you can wait, a few more years will make it even more delicious.    Around $28.        07/20/00
