1997 TRUCHARD Cabernet
Sauvignon, Napa Valley Carneros
Deep
saturated purple colors and a moderate, but interesting, bouquet of ripe
fruit, smoke, earth and candle wax mark this Napa Valley Cab. Ripe
blueberry and black cherry fruit flavors treat the palate, which turn
faintly herbal on the lasting finish. It's full bodied with
moderate tannin but comes across as somewhat monolithic.
