The bouquet is composed of meaty, gamy aromas, with an underpinning of dark berry fruit, with an earthy touch. Ripe dark fruit flavors, with distinct elements of herbs, menthol and eucalyptus, are present on the palate. With moderate richness and body, and an ample finish, this represents a nice effort from a tough vintage. And the herbal notes keep things interesting. About $22.        12/26/00
