Rocking Horse Winery

1997 ROCKING HORSE Zinfandel, Howell Mountain  Lamborn Vineyard Earthy, jammy raspberry scents flow nicely onto the palate. Intense ripe fruit flavors are carried on a full bodied, chewy mouthful of a wine. Not subtle, this one, with its 15% alcohol. And one must be able to tolerate massive tannins. If you can, you will enjoy it. At $7, you get a load of rich, flavorful Zinfandel. About $7                           03/02/00             Tom
