Neyers Vineyard

2000 NEYERS Zinfandel, Contra Costa County, Pato Vineyard  Loaded with jammy, dried raspberry fruit flavors, its full body glides onto a lengthy finish that shows plenty of toasted oak laced with caramel and vanilla. Its a big boy, boasting 16.1% alcohol and comes off a bit hot right out of the bottle. But as it breathes, the caramel and vanilla finish develops some delicious nuttiness, adding even more interest to another magnificent effort from Bruce Neyers and master wine maker, Ehren Jordan.
