2000 MERRYVALE Sauvignon Blanc  Napa Valley, Juliana Vineyards A dollop of 16% Semillon and barrel fermentation in French oak (25% new) makes for a magnificent bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. A far cry from the bold Kiwi style of the varietal, this wine offers golden flavors of honeyed citrus served up in a full, rich body.  Yet, it presents plenty of crisp acidity to play off all the richness.
