LEWIS CELLARS 2001 Chardonnay, Sonoma County
You want buttery Chard? Here it is...in spades. The aromatics
are modest. But pineapple and citrus are present on the nose
and palate. Things are just not real intense as this wine is drinking very young and closed. More bottle age will be needed
for it to come around. But it's a full bodied mouthful, with suggestions of smoky, spicy hazelnut, and it should develop
over the next few months.
