1997 HESS COLLECTION Cabernet

Napa Valley Mount Veeder
The
nose offers up ripe black cherry and unsweetened chocolate aromas, with
briary, brambly overtones. On the palate, the fruit is tart and not real
ripe, and is carried in a medium body, with the tannins turning chewy on
the finish. All in all, a disappointing result from this premium producer.
