1997 HESS SELECT Cabernet
Sauvignon, California
Quite
a value from a "people's choice" label. It features a slightly
spicy bouquet of cassis and plums and a full bodied mouthful of fruit,
with chocolate showing up on the finish. With a bit of residual
bitterness, the tannins are soft enough, with good concentration of
flavor. About $10.
