Lovely California red has inky dark ruby color and a medium to heavy velvety body.  It has a huge jammy berry nose with toasted oaky vanilla aromas lurking in the background.  Flavors of raspberry jam, followed by toasty vanilla and a flash of chocolate in the finish. One of our favorite Zins!           05/01/98
