1996 FLORA SPRINGS Sauvignon
Blanc, Napa Valley
You are greeted by restrained aromas of fermented fruit, which tell you
that this is not your normal Loire Valley Sauvi. Creamy vanilla and
smoke spread over the palate, being carried by a soft, round body.
Flavors of ripe apple and pear break through the smoke and linger on into a
lovely finish. We limit this mouth full of wine to two glasses
because it is not true to its varietal roots and because of a $13 dollar price
