1997 DUCKHORN Sauvignon Blanc,
Napa Valley
A
diaphanous veil of creamy vanilla seems to wrap itself around the
pineapple and tropical fruit which dominates this California
white. A little away from the straight ahead Loire Valley
Sauvi prototype, one must pay some attention to anything from this
celebrated producer. We found things somewhat restrained.
