1999 DOMAINE CARNEROS Pinot

Magnificent
aromatics! Candied strawberries are predominant, but smoke and new saddle
leather work their way forward, too. Hues of brownish burgundy are
exceptional, as well. Most elements of the bouquet replicate nicely on the
palate but, alas, things are a little short except for a bit of oaky
bitterness which, most unfortunately, has the final say.
