1996 CLOS DU VAL Chardonnay, Carneros Napa Valley
For
those who prefer their Chardonnay understated, this medium bodied
California Chard shows nice citrus acidity. Aromas and flavors of
tart citrus, vanilla, toasty oak and honey are there...just not much.
An overlay of ripe pear teases the palate on the finish along with a
hint of honey.
