1997 CASTLE ROCK Cabernet Sauvignon,
California Cuvee

Lovely
cassis bouquet, with nuances of gamy, smoky meat. Medium bodied, with
big ripe berry and cherry flavors. Accompanied by well behaved tannins,
it's a nice mouthful, which progresses to an ample, lasting finish. The
palate is left with a residue of chocolate and vanilla, making this wine
beg for red meat! Comes from a small producer, but, if you can find it, but it by the
case! Should retail for around $12.
