1998 BARNETT VINEYARDS
Chardonnay,
Napa Valley
Modest,
but complex nose of spice, almond blossom, smoky oak and tropical fruit.
Showing moderate weight and moderate richness on the palate, it presents
very nice length, finishing with flavors of burnt butter. The style is
soft with low acidity, providing very tasty fruit flavors. Can't help
but think that a dash of citrus would certainly kick this up a notch.
