2000 MORGAN Sauvignon Blanc, Monterey-Sonoma County
Very
true to its varietal character, this wine shows forward flavors of citrus
and stone fruit, along with that herbal grassy edge. The aromatics are
classic herbal, vegetal and citrus, and everything comes together in a
spritzy, crisp finish. And the use of 14% Semillon and 1.5% Pinot Gris in
no way detracts from the varietal purity of this effort.
