Massive
herbal notes nearly obliterate the underlying fruit aromas. An amalgam of
smoky sage, eucalyptus and mint permeate the bouquet. Things are more
reserved on the palate, where the fruit comes across as ripe but with a
touch of acidity, and the tannins get chewy. While not a super rich style
of Cab, the nice coffee and cola nuances on the finish team up with the
monster aromatics to deliver a worthy result in this Bernardus
top
