1994 PARDUCCI Charbono,
Mendocino Old Vines
Lovely
aromas of ripe dark fruit, blended with a component of buttery
chocolate and a tinge of smoky oak. Sort of an herbal grassiness, or
fresh mowed turf. Light bodied, it suffers from puck-ery tannins, but
the flavors manage to come through. The fruit is a little tart on the
finish but, oh, what a nose! About $8.
